The Advanced Processing Technologies Team

Creating immersive aural experiences means working along the entire chain of audio. The Audio Team does whatever they can to improve audio, from synth layers through to mastering effects.


Principal Engineer Marina moved to London in 2006 thrilled by its cosmopolitan and energetic vibe. She loves travelling and experiencing new cultures and countries and takes every opportunity to do so. Marina is currently a Senior Engineer at Euro R&D, where she is part of the APT Team. She has a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering and specialised in Audio Signal Processing. She joined SIE in 2011 and since then has been involved in multiple projects for the PS Vita and PS4 platforms.


Manager, APT Much like his work time, Oliver’s free time mostly consists of games and programming. However since becoming a new father recently,he is finding the time for both very squeezed! As Manager of the APT Oliver’s job to make sure the team has everything they need to continue to make world class software. Having worked for the team in some form at SIE for 13 years, it has been his only job since leaving University!
